Become a member of the Ohio Valley Resource Conservation & Development Council.

  2.  Buy items, Sell items or Donate now to the Council via eBay Giving Works.

  3. Post something on Facebook asking 20 friends to donate $30 each to Ohio Valley RC&D Council in acknowledgment of your birthday. Or throw a birthday party and instead of receiving gifts ask your guests to donate to Ohio Valley RC&D Council.
  4. Make a personal check donation to Ohio Valley RC&D Council.

  5. Volunteer at the office or for a Council project.
  6. Donate stocks, bonds, and mutual funds to the Council.
  7. List Ohio Valley RC&D as a beneficiary on a life insurance policy.
  8. Donate your tax return refund or yearly IRA  withdrawals.

Volunteering: To ensure that our financial resources are invested in programs, and not overhead, we encourage volunteer efforts in many of our activities. Volunteering allows individuals to contribute expertise in specific areas, while also allowing for professional growth. Volunteers meet new individuals, attend events, and learn about the important resources located within southern Ohio. To learn more about volunteer opportunities, please call Beth Bell.

Newsletter: Becoming more informed on environmental issues and resources within the region allows individuals to make more informed decisions. Ohio Valley Resource Conservation & Development produces a quarterly E-newsletter which highlights important activities, including places we’ve protected, projects that we’re undertaking, pending legislation, and much more. Donations: Ohio Valley Resource Conservation & Development relies on donations from individuals and corporations to carry out much of its work. The organization receives no dedicated tax dollars in support of its efforts.  It is now more important than ever for individuals and corporations to assist in the effort to preserve our environmental resources. Donations also provide for an opportunity to leverage additional state and federal grants as well as private foundation awards to assist in implementing individual projects.

Ohio Valley RC&D is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. All projects and programs are funded through grants and donations.  Donations to Ohio Valley Resource Conservation & Development are tax deductible as allowed by law.
